Hornets lose 6 straight

VACAVILLE – The Sacramento State Hornets lost their sixth-consecutive game Friday night against UC Davis by a score of 10-2.

The Hornets (1-6) fell behind early and weren’t able to recover in a penalty-filled game. More than 30 penalties were called in total.

Trailing 6-2 with under eight minutes to play, Sacramento State could not take advantage of multiple powerplays.

UC Davis rookie Gordon Dickson recorded 4 goals and 4 assists, and Lucas Digati added a hat trick and 2 assists for the Aggies.

The Hornets have four weeks until their next game – a rematch with UC Davis on Nov. 10.
